Get Smart

Maxwell Smart (Steve Carell), an analyst employed by the spy agency CONTROL, has always hoped to be promoted to a be Field Operative, but despite his scoring extremely well on the Field Operative test, the Chief of CONTROL (Alan Arkin) decides not to promote him because Max is more valuable in his current duties. After Agent 23 (Dwayne Johnson) returns to CONTROL headquarters from a successful mission, Max steps out, disappointed, and accidentally bumps into a woman jogger. He returns to H.Q. to discover that enemy agents, sent by KAOS operative Siegfried (Terence Stamp), have penetrated CONTROL and have destroyed its interior. He finds the woman that he had bumped into is actually Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway); unfortunately, when Max and Agent 99 encounter apparent intruders in the wrecked base, Max fails to recognize them as fellow CONTROL agents and inadvertently attacks the Chief. Afterward, it is discovered that the perpetrators have stolen CONTROL's Agent files, thus exposing and assassinating many CONTROL agents around the world.. bla bla (find more info at wikipedia)

somehow this movie changed my view about Steve Carell.. I'm not a big fans of "The Office".. It's a weird TV series.. but "Get Smart" is different.. It's really funny - not freaky funny - and I enjoyed it so much.. another recommended movie you should see...

Dinner time..

We had dinner at Pure Restaurant in Menara Imperium last nite... Its so cool... Nice view.. and average price... they have a program called "buy 1 get 1 free" for F&B using BCA credit card...

We could enjoy the city view since its revolving restaurant.. Neways.. I recommend this place if anybody wants to have a romantic dinner with his/her couple...

The Yummy Green Monster..

Tells story about the fugitive-green-yummy-monster, Dr. Bruce Banner (Ed Norton), who’s attempting to find a cure to rid himself of the Hulk, while the General Ross keep pursuing him. The General gets help from the Russian soldier, Blonsky. When Blonsky personally volunteers to be injected with Banner's gamma formula to aid Ross in his capture, he becomes an even greater monster, and Banner must accept his inner beast to defeat Blonsky.

We just decided to switch it off coz we felt like singing… so after arranged some conspiracy with the guards, we left the office and went to Izzta in Pasar Festival.
My boss kept on calling me tho’… but at least we had some fun…hihihihihi..

What is really happening in "The Happening"??

The film opens on seemingly normal scenes in New York's Central Park and Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square, when people suddenly entering a strange trance and begin committing suicide en masse. The phenomena is then shown spreading to other parts of the cities, with construction workers are shown throwing themselves off buildings in New York and a string of people kill themselves with a police officer's gun in Philadelphia.
The protagonist, Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberg), is teaching science class in Philadelphia when the principal ends class due to reports of an apparent bioterrorist attack on New York. Elliot and his wife, Alma Moore (Zooey Deschanel), join Elliot's best friend and fellow teacher Julian (John Leguizamo) and his eight-year-old daughter Jess (Ashlyn Sanchez) as they decide to evacuate the city. The train they are taking soon stops at a small station in western Pennsylvania and train services are discontinued after the crew loses contact with "everyone." News begins to come through televisions and cell phones as the pandemic is shown spreading across the northeastern United States, with the initial assumption of terrorism now abandoned as the scale of the attacks grows.

This movie scares me... the most "nyebelin part" was when i have to go outside to make some phone calls (for work) while it's getting exciting.. so i missed some of the "horor" part... capeee dehhhhhhh...

Kungfu Panda

Made my eyes open wide.. we didn’t plan to go for a movie.. but then my friend asked me out.. at first I said NO since I was sooo sleepy… glad decided to go…

Tells story about a kung fu-maniac-panda-named-Poo who sells noodle (owned by his goose father, Mr. Ping) in the Valley of Peace.. Po's defining characteristic appears to be that he is the clumsiest of all the animals in ancient China... Mr. Ping hopes that Po will one day take over the restaurant. The tortoise Master Oogway has a premonition that the evil snow leopard warrior Tai Lung, the former student of his own protégé Master Shifu , will escape from prison and return to menace the Valley of Peace. Oogway orders a formal ceremony to choose the mighty Dragon Warrior who can defeat Tai Lung. Everyone assumes that one of the Furious Five — Tigress, Monkey, Mantis, Viper , and Crane — a quintet of supremely skilled martial artists trained by Shifu, will be chosen for this honor. While the Five demonstrate their skills at the ceremony, Po finds himself locked outside the walled palace square. He attempts desperately to gain entry through a series of increasingly foolhardy methods. He finally does get over the wall by making a chair out of fireworks, lighting them and waiting for Oogway to choose the Dragon Warrior. Suddenly the chair zooms into the air with Po and burns up, leaving the charred panda to crash into the center of the arena. Inspired by this sudden appearance, the old master designates Po the Dragon Warrior to everyone's shock. Despite Po's protests and Shifu's pleas to reconsider, Oogway stands by his decision.

Note from Padang.. June 6 - 8

i just got back from Padang last nite.. it was fun yet suck.. we went to Bukit Tinggi, Danau Singkarak, Pantai Padang and also Teluk Bayur... the food was great.. I also bought mukena and Kripik Sanjai.. but the trip to Bukit Tinggi was suck... our car broke in the middle of nowhere... our cellphone didnt work since there's no signal... The plane was suck also.. what the funk was wrong with the transportation????????

But beside that... I enjoyed the rest of the trip..
