Mr. Gates...

Lately I’ve been receiving emails with that name on the subject…
Found it interesting and valuable.. so I decided to upload it on my blog..
Here it is:

Part I
*Bill Gates Philosophy*
Love him or hate him, he sure hits the nail on the head with this! To anyonewith kids of any age, here's some advice. Bill Gates recently gave a speechat a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created ageneration of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set themup for failure in the real world.
*Rule 1 :* Life is not fair -- get used to it!
*Rule 2 :* The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world willexpect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
*Rule 3 :* You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. Youwon't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
*Rule 4 :* If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
*Rule 5 :* Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparentshad a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.
*Rule 6 :* If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whineabout your mistakes, learn from them.
*Rule 7 :* Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they arenow. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes andlistening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before yousave the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, trydelousing the closet in your own room.
*Rule 8 :* Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but lifeHAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'llgive you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn'tbear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
*Rule 9 :* Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off andvery few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that onyour own time.
*Rule 10 :* Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually havetoleave the coffee shop and go to jobs.
*Rule 11 :* Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

Part II
Why Bill Gates decides to Sell OFF Microsoft?

Letter from Banta Singh to Mr. Bill Gates
Subject: Problems with my new computer

Dear Mr. Bill Gates,
We have bought a computer for our home and we have found some problems, which I want to bring to your notice.
1. There is a button 'start' but there is no 'stop' button. We request you to check this.
2. One doubt is whether any 're-scooter' is available in system? I find only 're-cycle', but I own a scooter at my home.
3. There is 'Find' button but it is not working properly. My wife lost the door key and we tried a lot trace the key with this 'find' button, but was unable to trace. Please rectify this problem.
4. My child learnt 'Microsoft word' now he wants to learn 'Microsoft sentence', so when you will provide that?
5. I bought computer, CPU, mouse and keyboard, but there is only one icon which shows 'My Computer': when you will provide the remaining items?
6. It is surprising that windows says 'MY Pictures' but there is not even a single photo of mine. So when will you keep my photo in that
7. There is 'MICROSOFT OFFICE' what about 'MICROSOFT HOME' since I use the PC at home only.
8. You provided 'My Recent Documents'. When you will provide 'My Past Documents'?
9. You provide 'My Network Places'. For God sake please do not provide 'My Secret Places'. I do not want to let my wife know where I go after my office hours.
Regards,
Banta
